Privacy Policy

§ Introduction

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Roles Witch AI (the "App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the App on iOS. Roles Witch AI is a free application that runs AI models entirely on your device.

We have designed Roles Witch AI to minimize data collection to the greatest extent reasonably possible. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please do not use the App.

1 Data Collection Policy

We do not collect, receive, store, or process any personal information about you. Roles Witch AI does not include analytics SDKs, telemetry frameworks, crash reporting services, advertising identifiers, fingerprinting, or any other tracking technology.

Specifically, we do not collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or other contact information
• Your device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, advertising IDs)
• Your IP address or approximate location
• Your conversations, prompts, voice recordings, or any messages you exchange with AI models
• Usage statistics, feature interaction logs, or behavioral analytics
• Crash reports or diagnostic information

The App operates without user accounts. You do not register, log in, or create a profile to use Roles Witch AI.

2 App Store and Device Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions, which are processed locally on your device:

• Microphone: Required to enable voice input for conversations with AI models. Raw audio is never transmitted to us. Audio may, however, be processed by the system's Speech Recognition service as described below.
• Camera: Required only if you choose to use the vision or video call features. Images and video frames are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted to us or to any third party.
• Speech Recognition: The App uses the system's built-in Speech Recognition framework to transcribe your voice into text. Depending on your device, language, and iOS capabilities, the system may perform this transcription either on your device or on the operating system provider's servers. When server-based recognition is used, short audio clips are sent to the operating system provider and handled under its own privacy policy — not ours. You can enforce on-device transcription directly within the App by enabling "Require on-device recognition" in the App's Settings; when this option is enabled, the App instructs the system to perform speech recognition exclusively on your device, and no audio is sent off the device. We never receive the audio or the resulting transcript beyond what is needed to pass the text to the on-device AI model.
• Network Access: Used solely to download on-device AI models from their hosting location over HTTPS. Once a model is downloaded, no further network access is required for AI inference.

You may revoke any of these permissions at any time through your iOS Settings. Revoking a permission will disable the associated feature but will not otherwise affect the App.

3 Local Data Storage

All data generated through your use of Roles Witch AI is stored exclusively on your device. This includes, but is not limited to:

• App settings, preferences, and configuration
• Characters, personas, and custom roles you create
• Conversation history and chat transcripts
• Any AI models you download for on-device inference

This information remains under your sole control at all times. It is never copied, synchronized, or transmitted to any server operated by us. If you delete the App, all locally stored data is removed by iOS, subject to any backups you have independently configured (for example, through iCloud Backup or device-level backups).

4 On-Device AI Models

Roles Witch AI runs AI models directly on your device. When you use the App:

• The model runs entirely offline within the App
• Your prompts, inputs, and the model's responses never leave your device
• No data is transmitted to us or to any third party
• Network connectivity is not required for inference

Roles Witch AI ships with the LFM2.5 model from Liquid AI bundled directly in the App, so no download is required for the default experience. Use of the bundled model is governed by the Liquid Foundation Model License (LFM‑1), available at https://www.liquid.ai/lfm-license.

Additional on-device models may optionally be downloaded within the App. Any such download is a standard HTTPS request to the model's hosting location and is subject to that host's own terms and privacy practices. This is the only network activity required for AI functionality — once a model is downloaded, it is stored locally and used without further network access. We do not operate any AI server, and the App does not transmit your prompts, conversations, or any other user content to any remote endpoint.

5 No Analytics, No Tracking, No Advertising

Roles Witch AI contains no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not use Firebase, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Sentry, Crashlytics, AppsFlyer, Adjust, or any comparable third-party SDK.

We do not build user profiles. We do not measure engagement. We do not A/B test. We do not attribute installs. We do not fingerprint devices. We do not monetize attention.

Because we do not collect analytics, there is nothing for you to opt out of — privacy is the default and only option.

6 Children's Privacy

Roles Witch AI is not directed to, marketed to, or intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising the use of the App by minors.

7 Your Responsibilities

Because Roles Witch AI stores data locally and does not maintain servers on your behalf, you are responsible for:

• Securing your device with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID to prevent unauthorized access to locally stored data.
• Managing your backups. If you enable iCloud Backup or device backups, locally stored data may be included; review your device's backup settings to control this.
• Appropriate use. You are solely responsible for the content you generate and for compliance with the laws and terms applicable to your use.

8 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Roles Witch AI enables interactions with artificial intelligence models that generate text, voice, and other content. AI-generated output may contain inaccuracies, errors, biases, or content that is offensive, inappropriate, or otherwise objectionable. Such output does not represent our views or opinions.

You should independently verify any information that is material to your decisions. The App is provided for personal, informational, and entertainment purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise).

9 International Users and Applicable Law

Roles Witch AI is available globally through the iOS App Store. Because we do not collect personal data, most international data-protection obligations (including the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar regimes) are inapplicable to us as a data controller or processor.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

10 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, changes in applicable law, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App or on our website.

Your continued use of the App after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not agree to the updated Policy, please discontinue use of the App.
